Information We Collect
Account Information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from your Google account.
Payment Information
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, SUMIT (with PayPal available as an alternate option). Card details are handled directly by these processors — we don’t receive or store your full card number.
Your Images
Background removal and photo editing happen client-side, in your own browser. Your images are not uploaded to our servers as part of the normal editing workflow.
Usage Data
We track basic usage needed to enforce plan limits (such as how many exports you’ve used this period) and general site analytics (via Jetpack Stats and Google) to understand how the site is used.
Cookies
We use cookies required for core functionality — keeping you signed in and remembering your cart/checkout session — and, where enabled, analytics cookies to measure site traffic.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate your account, process payments, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests, and — if you haven’t opted out — send you service-related or marketing communications.
Third Parties
We share information with the vendors necessary to run the service: our payment processors (SUMIT, PayPal), our hosting and email infrastructure, and analytics providers (Jetpack/WordPress.com, Google). We don’t sell your personal information.
Data Retention
We keep account information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from My Account, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA.
